POPP Keypad | The smart keypad for a smarthome Z-wave system
The keypad can turn your alarm on or off using an individual PIN. Up to 20 different codes of 4 to 10 characters can be programmed and each code then has its own scene ID. As an additional option, the device has a separate doorbell button that lets you for instance control a siren (configured as a doorbell). When a code is entered correctly or incorrectly, a green or red LED will light up.
A handy example: Someone rings and then your Sonos stops playing and your Z-wave siren plays a "ding-dong" sound.
The keypad can be mounted with the supplied double sided tape or by using screws. There is an integrated magnetic sensor (tamper protection), so when the device is moved unauthorized, you can receive a push notification and, for example, trigger an alarm. There is also a separate scene ID for incorrect code typing, so an alarm scene can be started from your Z-wave controller.
Stand alone & Gateway mode
The keypad can be used as either secondary or primary controller. Stand-alone, for example, to directly associate with a door opener, therefore, there is no physical controller required for the connection and this is always stable.
In gateway mode, all possible scenes can be programmed, thus giving each unique code its own ID. The doorbell button and the incorrect entry of a code also have their own ID.
