Plugwise Tom | The smartheating radiator valve
Tom is the smart thermostat valve from Plugwise with Zigbee chip. The Plugwise Tom is part of a zone heating, based on the Plugwise Adam, the boiler control. Combine it with a number of Lisa thermostats and you have a very nice zone control.
If you are looking for a thermostatic valve for your underfloor heating, you can look at the Plugwise Floor.
What can Tom do for you?
-Always regulate the radiatorin for a stable room temperature.
-Makes heating zones possible with own schemes.
-Works on batteries or via an adapter.
-Communicates wirelessly according to the open ZigBee standard "Home Automation 1.2" (HA 1.2).
-Is childishly easy to operate.
-Is controlled by Home Automation Gateways, such as Adam, Homey and Smart Life.
The Tom needs power. The unique feature of this crane is that it can be connected to both battery and mains power. Depending on which power you use, the radiator valve works in a different way.
