The SEC_SRT-321 z-wave wall thermostat is a wireless z-wave enabled thermostaat for use with a wireless boiler actuator (sold seperately or as a set). This Z-wave device works on 2 AAA batteries.
How to include the thermostat in youre z-wave controller:
VERA / FIBARO controllers
Select 'Add-device' in the Vera User Interface or press the "+" button for 2 seconds on the Vera Z-wave controller. The orange LED will flash slowly on the controller
Enable the DIP switch 1 of SRT321 thermostat (ON).
Rotate the selectionwheel of SRT321 untill a “L” is displayed on the screen.
Press the wheel to put the z-wave thermostat in inclusion mode. A flashing “L” is displayed and then and changes to “LP”. Now you should be able to see thethermostat in the VERA or FIBARO controller
Only for Vera controllers : cancel “insert mode”; select the blue “Refresh” button on the top right. The message “Unit busy” will be displayed in the web console interface for a little while.
After inclusion, the z-wave thermostat will appear on the console . Now it needs to be configured.
Select the letter “n” by rotating the wheel and press the wheel. This adjusts the room temperature and the warning message disappears.
Change the DIP switch # 1 setting to normal mode (OFF), remove the battery for 5 seconds and re-insert.
It is possible now also to locally change the temperature by turning the thermostat dial. The configuration and the change will be displayed in the VERA web interface.
After inclusion of the z-wave thermostat in the controller, some configuration settings have to be set in order to make it work properly in the network and report the temperature to the controller. By default Secure Thermostat will not report the set temperature to the controller by changing or adding parameters
Setting the parameters in the z-wave thermostat:
Parameter 1 Default value = 0 0-127 Disables the temperature sensor. 128-255 Enables the temperature sensor.
