Imagine... A house with no remotes. A house that listens to you. A house that does what you want it to do. Homey will do this for you. By connecting all you devices in a smart way, you will never need to grab a remote control or the app. Because Homey listens to what you say and its smarter than you think.
All your devices connected In a where devices are getting smarter and smarter, there will be more remotes lying around. Or more apps on your phone.
We believe that technology should make your life easier not more complex
Homey combines all your devices so you can controll them easily. Ask homey to dim your lights, or change the colour. Or that the music starts to play when you come home
Homey uses 8 different wireless technologies to achieve this. The populair Z-wave protocol is one of them This is how Homey connects all your devices. Smart people can write apps for Homey for even more integration with other products.
Allways acces to your home Sometimes you just can't talk. Thats why the Homey app is handy as well. With the app you can controll all devices in your house from your pocket. Setting the thermostat or preheating the oven when you want pizza.
Endless possibilities Keep control over your house by creating scenes. Scenes are very handy when you want to do a sequence of things. Turn on the TV, amplifier and dim the lights would be a great TV-scene. You can run them on a specific time or when a sensor is activated. The Flow editor works very easy.
Safe data Homey uses encrypted connections. You control who has access.
Everything on board.
Homey offers, next to Z-wave, the following protocols; - Z-wave - Zigbee - Bluetooth - Infrarood - 433Mhz (o.a. voor klik-aan-klik-uit) - NFC - InfraRood

2.0 destroyed Homey!

Loved Homey ever since I got one, but after 2.0 was released they removed support for a desktop app, so from now on, only manageable through mobile devices. NOT Recommended!
