Smart garagedoor part 2
Z-wave garagedoor control part 2
After our first garage project where we put attach a door to the Z-Wave network by a FIBARO switch are parallel to the push button is now time for part 2. The aim is to operate the garage door with a shutter switch. The advantage is that we can also put the garage door partially open, and we get feedback on the state of the door.
What we used:
- A Hormann SupraMatic garage door motor
- A Qubino flush shutter ZMNHD01
- A 24 Volt power supply.
We have Qubino through the outputs Q1 and Q2 connected to the plus and minus of the engine. The Qubino module is powered by a 24V power supply.
After inclusion in the Home center 2, we are able to turn on the motor 2 side. Due to the absence of a resistance (the door, it is unfortunately not possible to adjust the final exit). Via parameter 74 you can set the opening/closing time (this is something you have to manualy time yourself).
