fibaro:getGlobalModificationTime()

 

Action :

Recives the  'time last modified' of a global variable from the variable panel
The function is part of a group of functions:
The functions only differ in the returned value.

 

Usage and parameter :

fibaro:getGlobalModificationTime(variabele_name)

  • variabele_name : variabele of which you want to know the time of. 

Returned value :

A timestamp from when the variable is changed last.
De value is returned in string format, when you want to convert the string to a string please use the
 tonumber() command.

 

Programming example :

-- Request when the variable inbedrijfsinds is changed last.
local lastchange = fibaro:getModificationTime('inbedrijfsinds');

-- performs an action when its longer than 10 seconds ago when the variable is changed
if ((os.time()) tonumber(laatstewijziging) >= 10 then
   fibaro:debug('its more than 10 seconds ago that a variable is changed');
else 
   fibaro:debug('its less than 10 seconds ago that a variable is changed');
end
